FESTIVAL “ANIMASYROS 2022” : Official premiere for GNTO

The 2nd animated tourist film of GNTO was presented on Thursday 22/09/22, at the official opening ceremony of the “ANIMASYROS 2022”- International Animation Festival in the island Syros of Cyclades, in the presence of the President of the Hellenic Republic Mrs Katerina Sakellaropoulou and official guests from Greece and abroad.

 

With the theme of Greece as a destination that can be enjoyed throughout the year, the new GNTO’s film is entitled "Greece. More than the eye can see" and presents the multitude of alternative/thematic tourism possibilities that the country offers.

 

The 1st animated tourist film of GNTO, was presented exactly one year before, at the same “AnimaSyros” event. The aim is to promote the  family vacations in Greece under the title "Hello welcomes children to Greece".

 

The General Secretary of the GNTO Dimitris Fragakis, welcoming the official first presentation of the new animated film, reminded that: "In 2021, Greek tourism, with the decisive assistance of the creative team of the Festival, acquired the first in the history of the promotional video of a tourism campaign with the form of animations. This year's event puts our country back at the center of creative thinking, while the new inspirational GNTO animated film enriches our country's international communication strategy with innovative tools. We proudly support “AnimaSyros”. It is a special cinematic celebration that connects peoples, cultures and special creators".

 

The movie

 

The new GNTO animated video is another original animation production, which aims to promote Greece as a constantly evolving and sustainable holiday destination 365 days a year. At the same time, it dynamically enriches the strategy of reaching travelers of all ages from all over the world.
